Chef Carry On Bag
This is Jennifer's second carry on bag.. She loved the first one so much that she whipped up a second and had fun using fabrics from the Mangia! Mangia! collection. She added a clear plastic business card holder. On the other side, which you can see by clicking under the picture, she realized she should have used a different part of the border stripe so that the chefs would show when the pocket flap is down. But she still loves the bag and the colors.

Rachel's 2nd and 3rd Skirt
Rachel, from Australia, just loves making skirts. She continues to use the free pattern that you can download from Megan Nielsen's blog.

Her yellow skirt, trimmed in aqua, uses fabric from Moda's line, PB&J. The pretty blue skirt uses fabric from Wilmington's Ooh-La-La collection. Rachel wanted to have a little more fun with this one and decided to turn the hem up 1/2", stitch 1/4" away from the bottom fold, and then clip the remaining part of the hem to the stitching line. When she washed the skirt, the hem frayed a little bit. Click on the link below the picture to view the frayed hem.
